Applications for the Columbia-Corning Advanced Materials Prize are open! The prize will support interdisciplinary Columbia teams developing innovative advanced materials technologies with the potential to transform industries.
Areas of focus include materials, equipment, and systems for life sciences, ceramic materials, materials for quantum computing, advanced coatings and paints, photonics and display technology, and battery technologies. Accepted semi-finalist teams will have access to top business and technical experts from Corning and the broader entrepreneurial community. Teams will receive funding for work in the lab, as well as access to the Corning material, equipment, mentorship, and advice.
